Why do you hold auditions?
Especially for new dancers, auditions are meant to be a learning experience and they help our directors and choreographers place you on the best team that fits you and your journey here at Activ8!
What should you expect at auditions?
We treat auditions like another class! Dancers are led through a dynamic warm-up, across the floor skills, and learn 1-2 short combos (the style will be either jazz, lyrical or contemporary) then perform it in small groups! Lastly, we will have short 1-on-1 dancer interviews to chat and allow our directors to get to know each dancer better.
